Embroidered Towels

Pictures submitted in the schemes are designed for cross-stitching. Use special cloth for cross-stitching, because towel is too thick for embroidery. You will find hardanger cloths in all handicraft shops. You can choose from many colours and suit to colour of the towel. Embroider a strip of cloth with a desired ornament and sew it down to the towel. You can see in the illustrations how your work can look like but don’t be afraid to improvise. These patterns will suit not only to the edge of the towel, but they will look good on the edge of the toiletry, a table-cloth in a bathroom or on a cushion envelope.
